Food for me has always been my world, from a small child to a now mature and grounded woman. A resounding feeling for me to LOVE FOOD. Travelling opened up my eyes and awareness for food from all around the world. Food is not just inclusive of its flavour but as an experience. I’ve found everywhere is quite different and on many occasions its the people that make it. Theres is always more to learn.. That’s the first step on my long journey and that’s why I’M Destinova!

My foundest childhood memories are about my grandmother who used to make a caraway cheese from the cow milk, yes and the cow was grazed  in our yard!

This midsummer magic night and family who gathered around the bonfire, rye bread and the juicy river trout for the dinner. These are my foundest memories about the Latvia and this is one of my favorite place, where my journey begin.
